Terms and Conditions:
1. A deposit of 50% of the total course and accommodation fees must be paid to confirm registration. Payment of this fee amounts to a contractual agreement based on the terms and conditions outlined herein. This amount is included in the course and accommodation fees, and is deducted from the full outstanding fees.
2. Full tuition fees are payable before course commencement. Letters of Acceptance, certificates and progress reports will only be issued after full payment.
3. Full payment for accommodation must also be made in advance.
4. Students are responsible for charges incurred when transferring fees. Payment can be made on arrival only in the case of late bookings. Please ensure that TalkTalk Language Academy is notified before arrival.
Cancellation/Withdrawal
5. Written notification of cancellation must be received by TalkTalk Language Academy 21 days before course commencement. Customers will be charged a cancellation fee of 15% of the total fees due in this event, and will also be liable for the costs of refunds.
6. For cancellations received fewer than 21 days before the start of the course, a cancellation fee of 30% of the total fee will be charged.
7. No refunds will be made for cancellation, non-arrival or withdrawal at or after course commencement.
General
8. Students are not insured by TalkTalk Language Academy against illness, accident, theft or any loss of personal effects. TalkTalk Language Academy or its representatives cannot accept responsibility for any accident occurring during a course, on or off the course premises, on excursions or during activities. Full personal insurance cover should be taken out to include medical and any other expenses including loss of fees should the whole or part of the course or any activity, paid in advance should such events result in non-attendance.
9. All courses at TalkTalk Language Academy are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to change courses and fees without prior notice, but will make a concerted effort to keep clients informed.
10. TalkTalk Language Academy reserves the right to determine the needs and level of students and will not accept liability for any errors made in this regard.
11. TalkTalk Language Academy will provide training material as and when required. This will take the form of photocopied documents. The basis of our training is practical use of the language, and students may be required to generate relevant material themselves.
12. Student conduct deemed by TalkTalk Language Academy or its representatives to be detrimental to other students, the school or homestay families, may result in the student being asked to leave the school. No refunds will be considered in such instance.
13. Transfers on arrival and departure are included in the fees, but are limited to travel from the Port Elizabeth Airport to the City of Port Elizabeth and vice versa.
14. A service fee is applicable for assistance from the school regarding visa extensions and/or change of visa status. Please contact the school for more details.
Jurisdiction
15. Place of jurisdiction in the event of dispute: the courts in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
